Who looks after your information?

Ange Pots, the independent pottery studio run by Ange in Warrington, is responsible for enquiries made through this site. Contact angepotspottery@gmail.com about your information or this notice.

When you get in touch

The contact form collects your name, email address, topic and message, plus the page you contacted us from and the date. Please don’t include payment details or sensitive personal information. Your message is saved in a private studio inbox so Ange can respond by email.

We use this information to answer enquiries and take steps at your request before a potential order or class booking. For general correspondence and protecting the form from abuse, we rely on our legitimate interests in running the studio and replying to people. Sending a message does not sign you up for marketing.

Test class bookings

The class booking form is for testing only. It stores the test name, email address, selected class, quantity, example total, booking status and timestamps in the private admin. Please use fictional test details. No class payments or booking emails are enabled. A hashed network address is stored to limit repeated test submissions. No attendee details appear in the public calendar.

Email alerts

When email alerts are connected, Resend sends Ange a short notification containing the enquiry topic and a link to the private studio inbox. The notification does not contain your name, email address or message. Your full enquiry stays in the studio inbox.

Storage and sharing

The website and enquiry database use Sites hosting with Cloudflare infrastructure. These service providers process the information needed to run and secure the service; hosting and technical support may involve processing outside the UK. Their applicable contractual safeguards govern those transfers. We do not sell your information.

Enquiries are shown in the studio inbox for up to 90 days. Older entries are removed from the live enquiry database when it is next accessed. If Ange replies by email, that correspondence will also be in her Gmail account and is separate from this inbox. Information needed for an agreed order or a legal obligation may need to be retained separately for longer. Technical logs and backups follow the hosting providers’ retention arrangements.

Your choices and rights

You can ask for access to, correction or deletion of your information, or object to or request restriction of its use, and request portability where applicable. Some rights depend on the reason we use the information. Email Ange to make a request or raise a concern. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.

Cookies and browser storage

This site uses browser storage to remember your basket and your Google map choice. It has no advertising or analytics tools added by Ange Pots. Studio sign-in uses the hosting platform’s essential authentication and security functions.

Stores a private checkout access token in this browser tab for the current test order, until the tab closes or the cancelled checkout is cleared.

Remembers whether you allow the Google map, for up to six months. You can change this choice below.

Google map and other links

The Google map stays blocked until you allow it. Once loaded, Google receives technical information such as your IP address and may use cookies under its own policies. You can use the directions link without loading the map here. Class dates and test availability are displayed directly by this website. Opening Google Maps, Instagram or Etsy takes you to those services, whose privacy policies apply.

Withdrawing permission stops new embedded map requests on this site. Clear cookies already set by Google through your browser settings. Read Google’s privacy policy.

Payments

Live checkout is not open. A separate checkout page is available for Stripe sandbox testing only: use test contact details and test card numbers, not real card information. Stripe hosts the payment fields and processes information entered in that form, and a test customer record may be created in Ange’s Stripe sandbox. No real payment or pottery order is placed. Ange Pots does not store card numbers on this website. See Stripe’s privacy policy. This notice will be updated before live orders open.
